• Educational Qualification : (A) Any of the Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part – II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.

(B) Recognised Post-Graduate qualifications in a particular speciality or equivalent. Post-Graduate qualifications :- for (i) MD/DMRD (Radiology), (ii) MD/DA (Anaesthesiology), (iii) MD (Pathology), (iv) MS (Orthopaedics), (v) MS (Surgery), (vi) MD (Medicine), (vii) MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), (viii) MD/DCH (Paediatrics), (ix) MS/DO (Ophthalmology), (x) MS/DLO (E.N.T.), (xi) MD, DM (Cardiology), (xii) MD, DM (Haematology), (xiii) MD (Oncomedicine), (xiv) MS, M.Ch (Oncosurgery) & (xv) MD, DM (Neurology).

• Desirable: Six months’ practical training as House Staff in any Government hospital or other recognized Institution.

Application Fee : 

• Candidates must enclose with the application a fee of Rs. 210/-only by Indian Postal Order. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No fee for S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
