• Educational Qualification : Candidates should have Passed Intermediate /10+2 /equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR (b) Passed two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards/ Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

• PET Test
• INTERVIEW : Candidates who have passed the written test and PFT will be interviewed. Interview is normally conducted in English. Working Knowledge of English is thus essential. 

General Medical Standards

for Group 'Y' (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician)
Trades are as follows:
(i) Height: Minimum height required is
152.5 cms. 
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion
is 5 cm.
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
(v)Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear
forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(vi)Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii)Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity.
